To facilitate running electrical wiring through the exterior walls of your home, EMERCOR drills a 1" diameter vertical "chase" or channel through the foam core. Electricians are then able to use a fish tape to feed electrical wires through the panel chases. Although it is best to try and determine the exact locations of your electrical prior to site construction, EMERCOR has developed a number of simple techniques for running wires to switch plates; wall mounted fixtures, etc., so that electrical chases can be done on site by your electrician.

Traditionally, plumbing is kept within the interior walls and floors of your home. However, in situations where exterior wall vent pipes are necessary, chases can be formed in the foam core. Typical Installation Sequence for Electrical Wiring

	Step 1 View EMERCOR Shop Drawings to identify electrical chase ways for box location.		Step 2 Mark distance from end of panel as indicated on EMERCOR Shop Drawing for location of electrical box.
	Step 3 Place electrical box template on mark indicating electrical box location.		Step 3 b Attach electrical box template to panel.
	Step 4 Use rotary saw to cut out opening for box.		Step 4 b Remove electrical box cut out.
	Step 4 c See electrical chase way in opening of panel.		Step 5 Use fish tape to pull electrical wiring through chase way.
	Step 5 b Fish out electrical wires.		Step 6 Attach electrical box per manufacturer's instructions.
	Step 7 Spray Foam electrical box opening.		Step 7 b
	Step 8 Insert electrical box into opening.		Step 8 b Hold the box plumb as you push nails into panel to keep box from being pushed out from expanding foam.
	Step 9 Spray Foam gaps between opening and electrical box.		Step 9 b Allow Spray Foam to set for 20 - 30 minutes.
	Step 10 Remove excess foam.		Step 10 b Finished electrical box installation.
